Rad Raptor Best Seller List – Week of 1/9

Each week we’ll post the top ten best selling comics in our store so you can see what other cool stuff people are reading. If it looks awesome to you, stop on by the store and pick up a copy. If you live out of the area, just send us a message and we’ll do our darndest to get you a copy of some of the coolest comics on planet earth…

This week saw two heavy hitters at the top of our list – Batman and Web of Venom: Unleashed. All things Venom consistently sell well in our store, so even a one shot not written by Donny Cates just inched out Batman, which continues to sell even with a very disorienting plot by Tom King and a terrible variant cover by Frank Miller.

Further down the list, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-ManYoung Justice, and Captain Marvel had strong launches, though the otherwise excellent Captain Marvel book was no doubt held down by an awful main cover. The excellent Miles Morales Spider-Man continues to ride the Spider-verse train (thank you Marvel for finally getting that timing right), the mediocre Man Without Fear mini-series hits its second issue (help us Chip Zdarsky, you’re our only hope!), and Uncanny X-Men limps along towards the end of its weekly event at the bottom of the list (Marvel, we’re begging you, stop it with the weekly events). Sandwiched in between are second issues of indie hits Life is Strange and Die, which are store favorites and fantastic comic books to boot.

Anyway, here’s the full list for your perusal. Check back next week to see what made the top ten!
